Ezekiel 7:13

English Standard Version

13 For the seller shall not return to what he has sold, while they live. For the vision concerns all their multitude; it shall not turn back; and because of his iniquity, none can maintain his life.[1] (Le 25:13; Eze 9:8)

New International Version

13 The seller will not recover the property that was sold – as long as both buyer and seller live. For the vision concerning the whole crowd will not be reversed. Because of their sins, not one of them will preserve their life.

New International Reader’s Version

13 The seller will not get back the land that was sold. That will be true as long as both the buyer and seller are alive. ‘ “Ezekiel, the vision I gave you about that whole crowd will come true. They have committed many sins. So not one of them will be able to save their life.

King James Version

13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
